      HALLYM university
      http://kxrcr.knrrc.or.kr
    • Xenopus is an african clawed frog which has been used as an essential vertebrate development and cell differentiation model animal about 100 years and achieved two times Novel prize with the research using it. Korea Xenopus resource center for research (KXRCR) will provide adult Xenopus including wild type and albino Xenopus laevis, Xenopus tropicalis, mutant animals and various related resources including genes, reporters for drug screening, germ layer specific gene and Chip seq profiles to related researchers and education fields.
    • Parasite Resource Bank
    • 2005 ~ Now
      Chungbuk National University
      http://prb.knrrc.or.kr
    • Parasitic infection still remains an important health issue in developing countries. Parasite Resource Bank (PRB) was established in 2005 with a goal to provide researchers with parasite resources causing human and animal diseases. PRB has built a management system with standardized methods for collection, classification, identification, preservation and distribution of parasite resources. PRB also aims to promote and encourage the research activities in multidisciplinary scientific fields of basic medical science, bioengineering, comparative genomics, and conservation biology.
    • Zebrafish Center for Disease Modeling (ZCDM)
    • 2018 ~ Now
      Chungnam National University
      http://zcdm.knrrc.or.kr
    • The zebrafish (Danio rerio) is a vertebrate animal which possesses a similar genomic constitution to that of humans. Especially, with the recent influx of human patient big data, zebrafish disease models are highly suitable for the validation of candidate genes. The Zebrafish Center for Disease Modeling (ZCDM) utilizes CRISPR knockout technology to contribute to the bio-industry of personalized medicine; especially, in molecular diagnostics and drug discovery for key diseases. Our mission is to provide assistance in collection, maintenance, and distribution of important disease models to research community.
    • Arthropods of Medical Importance Resource Bank
    • 2007 ~ 2017
      Yonsei University
      http://amib.knrrc.or.kr
    • Arthropods of Medical Importance Resource Bank (AMIB) was established to collect and rear the arthropods which influence human health by transmitting viruses, bacteria, rickettsia or parasites and eliciting allergic reactions. AMIB provides materials of arthropods such as toxic substances, allergens and genetic material to researchers in medical and biological fields and other applied health industries.
    • Bovine Genome Resources Bank
    • 2007 ~ 2016
      Yeungnam University
      http://bgrb.knrrc.or.kr
    • Bovine Genome Resources Bank (BGRB) was established in 2007 to collect and maintain a variety of genetic resources and information for bovine genome researches including genomic library, DNA samples from many cattle individuals and well-organized computer-assisted database. BGRB distributes genomic resources and provides useful tools for identifying genes with economically important traits for the improvement of the cattle production in the future.

      Kyungpook National University
      http://zomb.knrrc.or.kr
    • Zebrafish has several advantages over other animals such as mouse and Xenopus for studying developmental biology. Genetic mutations can be made easily and the analysis of genes by positional cloning and reverse genetics is very simple. Also, the embryological development of organs can be easily observed since its embryos are transparent. Zebrafish Resource Bank (ZOMB) was established in 2003 and has developed or received deposits of mutants and transformants of zebrafish. These resources are stored and managed to be distributed to researchers free of charge. Also, ZOMB organizes workshops and research societies of zebrafish for sharing information and ideas.
